RegFlux is a blog on law in China, not just “Chinese law” as typically understood.
Law in China is not a purely domestic affair as the weight of China’s growing economy is being felt almost in every corner of the world.
RegFlux tells the story of law in China from the local perspective, albeit making comparative references to other jurisdictions as appropriate.
RegFlux always interprets the law in contexts. Indeed, RegFlux mostly focuses on regulations, sub-regulations, “normative documents”, local rules, verbal instructions, “window guidance” or even implicit laws as they are part of the regulatory ecosystem having real impact on business operations.
Regulations and anything “below” thereof are fascinating as they change more often in adaptation to incessant transformation in the Chinese social and economic reality, hence our focus: RegFlux.
